Tesla Innovation Center

Come Innovate with us

We focus on the following 3Ts

Conferences and Training will help you sharpen your skills and expand your professional network.

Pilot testing enables our customers to verify the feasibility of the proposed separation processes.

If the development is technology driven, R&D is directed toward developing products to meet the unmet needs.

To provide skilled manpower to the industry.

As an individual you can avail various benefits from the bandwagon of services we carry out. You can be a student currently studying in your 3rd/4th year, a recently passed out student or even a professional pursuing a career in the environment sector to be eligible for this category of services.

For an Industry it becomes all the more essential to be trained. Be it your operators or the EHS Managers who are the backbone behind STP/ETP/WTP/APC etc. Go through our entire content to learn more about what is being offered.

We are aiming to improve Industry-Institute interaction and in doing so 50% of the change that we are trying to aim will have to come from the institute’s side only. We are aiming to sign MOUs with colleges and institutes so that both the institute and its student can get benefited from the same.

Job opportunities in Environment Sector are growing rapidly

“Tesla Innovation Center (TIC)” is a facility created by Tesla Innovation Pvt Ltd, SINE, IIT Bombay, Mumbai keeping focus on enhancing employability and professional skills.

TIC offers training for Civil/chemical/Environment/Biotech Engineers who wish to take up/pursuing their career in “Environment Engineering Sector”. TIC is equipped with more than 20 working pilots for technologies in air, water, wastewater and solid waste.

Furthermore, you can get hands-on training on the operation of equipment and instruments for monitoring and analysis of air and water quality. With more than 200 clients, TIPL will also facilitate the placements for deserving candidates.

What is the need to get trained?

Say yes or no
1. How many of you know, what can be your role in the YES or NO
2. Do you know that in Environment sector, the major developing sectors are Air, Solid waste, Water YES or NO
3. What are the roles that can be played by students in this YES or NO
4. What are the future prospects YES or NO
5. Do you know that only in Pune city alone there are 4K+ water, waste water treatment industries YES or NO

If your answer to any of the question above was no, You have all the reasons to watch our Video

We focus on bringing out more & more advanced technologies for you to take trials.

Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOP) refer to a set of oxidative water treatments that can be used to treat toxic effluents at the industrial level and wastewater treatment plants. AOPs are efficient methods to remove organic contamination not degradable by means of biological processes.

Efficiency of the bioreactors have long been vitiated due to low Oxygen mass transfer from air to liquid phase. It is a well-known fact that Bioreactors are space intensive treatment units. An increase in oxygen transfer rate can be the key to overcome the Oxygen limitation. TESLA Innovations Pvt. Ltd. Is on its way to develop an innovative technology based on pressurised bio-reactor for effluent treatment.

Wet oxidation is a form of hydrothermal treatment. It is the oxidation of dissolved or suspended components in water using oxygen as the oxidizer. It is referred to as “Wet Air Oxidation” (WAO) when air is used. The oxidation reactions occur in superheated water at a temperature above the normal boiling point of water (100 °C), but below the critical point (374 °C).

Ultrafiltration (UF) is a type of membrane filtration in which hydrostatic pressure forces a liquid against a semipermeable membrane. A semipermeable membrane is a thin layer of material capable of separating substances when a driving force is applied across the membrane.

Reverse osmosis (RO) is a water purification technology that uses a semipermeable membrane to remove ions, molecules, and larger particles from drinking water. In reverse osmosis, an applied pressure is used to overcome osmotic pressure, a colligative property, that is driven by chemical potential differences of the solvent, a thermodynamic parameter.

The MBBR system consists of an aeration tank with special plastic carriers that provide a surface where a biofilm can grow. The carriers are made of a material with a density close to the density of water. The carriers will be mixed in the tank by the aeration system and thus will have good contact between the substrate in the influent wastewater and the biomass on the carriers which will help to oxidise the soluble organic matters into H2O and CO2.

Electrocoagulation (EC) is a broad-spectrum treatment technology that removes total suspended solids (TSS), heavy metals, emulsified oils, bacteria and other contaminants from water.

Firstly, the quartz reactor will be filled with wastewater. Then the catalyst namely titanium dioxide will be added from material port. For proper mixing a magnetic stirrer will be provided.  After proper mixing of catalyst, the UV lamp will be started.  This will excite the semiconductor catalyst into charge separation and electron hole pairs. The electrons and holes, on separation, assist in the production of the very reactive hydroxyl radical in the aqueous phase which can destroy many toxic organic pollutants.

The invention of coolant revolutionized the operations of engineering industries – but have equally created a negative impact on the environment as they are highly non bio-degradable and polluting.

Upon continuous usage in the machine, soluble cutting oil need replacement, primarily due to bad odor, biological degradation and accumulation of different types of particulate matter, each having a deterrent effect on the coolant’s performance and life.

Our Coolant Recovery System has been designed to eliminate the contaminants in coolant – which are mainly tramp oil & bacteria – without altering the properties of the original emulsion. This enables increase in coolant cycle times, thereby reducing both procurement of fresh oil as well as frequency of discharge.

Our in house Labs help us deliver quality R&D jobs.

Water Testing Laboratory

Pure and properly maintained water not only represents good environment but is essential for good health. Besides drinking, water has various other uses like, process water for Industries, utility water for domestic use, high purity water for pharmaceutical use etc.

It becomes highly essential to understand the composition of water and our water testing lab plays an important role in helping us do just that.

Air Testing Laboratory

We provide a complete range of services for testing and monitoring of AIR, for the spaces like, work place, Ambient, Incinerator stack, DG Stack, etc.

Our prime objective is to help our customer meet the environmental analytical needs of customers.
